After spending years in business coaching, training, and implementing processes within small companies, Founder and CEO Janice Jokkel saw a common theme within each client. They each had tasks left unfinished and wore multiple hats. The tasks seldom touched were back-office, marketing, and human resources. Each owner was so busy working "IN" their business instead of "ON" their business and stayed stuck not getting out of the weeds. Janice and Gabby took a step further in helping their clients complete these daunting tasks.
This success sparked an idea!
On March 18, 2021, the office complex they rented was sold leaving them without office space. This helped move their idea into reality!
On April 21, 2021, they ribbon-cut their first office in Medina, Ohio! The Biz Hive is a boutique-style business center that would offer office and conference room rentals, a virtual mailbox to offer a "real address" to home-based businesses, and virtual assistance for busy professionals. With great success in their first year, in June 2022 Get in Gear and The Biz Hive merged services.
On October 26, 2022, they ribbon-cut their second office in Wadsworth, OH. In this location, they offer meeting space rental and support services like phone answering and printing support. These are also the home business workshops they deliver throughout the year to sales professionals, teams, and business owners.
